state of the blog 2011

Well, we made to the first anniversary of the Gamedae Blog. There were three very simple goals set out in the beginning that I shared with my close friends. To share my knowledge of both new and old games, regular practice to become a better writer and finally to get invited to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

Here we are a year after getting started and still posting away. Gamedae has reviews on both new and old games on a fairly regular basis (although not quite weekly). My writing has at least become more interesting but will always require improvement. And, sadly, I must report that all avenues to E3 appear to be currently blocked but the quest does not end.

Thanks to the readers and especially to the commenters for your support. To get an idea of some of the other milestones from the past year hit the jump.

New goals for 2011:
  • Custom PS3 themes
  • T-shirts and business cards
  • Bring more attention to the little known banner archive
  • Get invited to E3

    1. Accompany the banner archive link with a graphic. Congrats on 1 year! I look forward to much more. Good to see the baby castles event was popular here, I had a blast there. The road to E3 starts with smaller events!! Let's go to more.

    2. Here are some tips I found online about how you can get to E3! Enjoy!

I read somewhere else that some will sell their E3 tickets on eBay so it might be worth checking that out!

    3. I forgot to say Congrats on the 1 year anniversary!

    4. Thanks for the link Goose egg although its not all that helpful. I am in the process of applying for an E3 Media Pass. Fingers crossed!
