The Figma figure from The Legend of Zelda is now sitting nicely in my collection between some X-Men and Robotech Mechs. Link is based The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the popular action adventure Zelda series' newest addition. This is a product from China distributed by the Good Smile company. The fine people at Chameleon Comics in lower Manhattan were nice enough to find it for me. They may still have one in stock if you're lucky.
The figure is about 5.5 inches and made out of ABS, PVC (plastics) materials. He comes with his standard gallant expression, as well as a powerful shouting face for combat poses. Multiple hands can be swapped out to accent the different poses you create. Using the smooth yet poseable joints of Figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes like raising the Master Sword or even mid swing swipe using the blue effects piece. Of course, the Master Sword as well as the Hylian Shield are both included. They can also be carried on his back as they did in the game. Overall a quality figure.
Now, I'm going to need this Mario.
There are a lot of fun choices with that figure! It was worth the wait.
